The Founders and Editors
This busy mom juggles the weekly updates and business affairs of Just The Facts Baby.com with her career as Vice President, Content and Brand Solutions for SilverLining Marketing. Nancy’s experience spans nearly two decades across various forms of media and brand consulting. She has led creative teams at four magazines in the role of editor-in-chief, and helped publications find a voice that relates to the reader, while building a brand that is appealing to advertisers and investors alike. She is also a published author of Baby Self Feeding: Solid Food Solutions to Create Lifelong, Healthy Eating Habits. In her spare time she loves watching her sons Bode and Beckett, and daughter Stella play sports and go on adventures together.
As a former magazine editor, Sydney thought she knew about multi-tasking — she knew nothing. Thanks to her son Charlie and daughter Maggie, she can now bake muffins, edit copy, do a load of whites and interpretive dance to the latest Top 40 hit — all at the same time. When she’s not trying to get the kids to school before the bell rings, she writes, edits and teaches journalism in Toronto. In addition to JustTheFactsBaby.com, she contributes regularly to Today’s Parent, Chatelaine, Reader’s Digest and The Globe and Mail.
