Plan the Perfect Nursery

  • Measure the room, windows and door openings and block out possible furniture placement on a sketchpad.
  • Don’t buy a crib with slats further than two and three-eighths inches apart.
  • A dresser instead of a change table can give the room more flexibility (just secure a change pad to the top until your child is out of diapers).
  • Shelving near the change table with storage baskets can be handy if you’re short on space.
