All-Natural Teething Toys for Babies

We recently added a new "product tester" to the Just the Facts, Baby team (Beckett is now three months old) and so had the perfect opportunity to try the award-winning Ringley Natural Teething Toy. Designed by a momprenneur on maternity leave who wanted a more natural and effective teether, the toy is easy to grab and the different textures are perfect for soothing sore gums, or just plain old chewing. And no need to worry about dyes or harmful chemicals–Ringleys are handmade from untreated maple and 100 percent organic cotton. ringleynaturalteethingtoys.com
Hit The Sack

Sleep sacks make it possible to create a cozy sleep environment for your baby, without the increased risk of SIDS created by regular blankets. We love the Cloud B LullaBag. It comes in three different fabric styles and our fav is the pointelle, breathable cotton (featured here) because it's ultra soft and perfect for year-round use. The bag has a two-way zipper, allowing you to open from the top or bottom–perfect for a late-night diaper change. Choose from small (one to six months) or large (six to 18 months).
Safe Swaddling for your Baby
As temperatures dip, new parents are apt to turn up their thermostats to keep their newborns warm. But swaddle baby in a fleece blanket and he may quickly overheat. Babies are unable to regulate their body temperatures and are prone to overheating–which can lead to SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). To keep their babies comfortable, two Arizona moms designed a lightweight, stretch fabric swaddle. The 100 percent organic cotton blanket is free of chemicals and pesticides and is breathable to help prevent overheating. It's also oversized–so if your baby sleeps more soundly with a swaddle, you can continue to bundle him until he's 20 pounds. For more details, check out solanababywear.com.
Organic Baby Bath Products
We love Lafe's Organic Foaming Baby Shampoo and Wash for so many reasons: the container is BPA-free and contains no phthalates or harmful chemicals, ingredients such as reverse osmosis water, saponified oils of coconut, sunflower seeds, olive and palm are ultra soft for even the most sensitive babies' skin and the one-touch pump makes the foaming body wash easy to use (especially handy with squirmy newborns). Best of all, one percent of all profits go to support breast cancer awareness and prevention. We can't think of a better way to keep baby clean. Permalink

Best Baby Shoes

Even babies need to dress up sometimes. We love how Robeez stay on our little ones’ feet, but what about when images of teddies and fire trucks clash with their dress up attire? Now Robeez Mini Shoez offer “real-shoe” styles in a water-repellant, non-slip design with the same “stay on your foot” elastic backing. Girls can wear Mary Janes or classic boots, while your little guy will look ultra stylish in his loafers or sports shoes. (Available in sizes three to 18 months.)
