Stylish Nursing Cover

Any party-going mom who has had to sit off in a room by herself feeding her infant while other guests dined, mingled and laughed without her can now rejoin the fun. Bébé au Lait (also known as Hooter Hiders) has created a nursing cover so chic actor Mira Sorvino even wore her Mayfair pattern as a scarf. The nursing covers fit easily over your neck and come in a wide range of causal cottons and elegant silks. A U-Shaped insert keeps the fabric out of baby's face while he nurses and allows mom to look down for a glance at her wee one. An added bonus? The cover also works to block out added stimuli so you can nurse in a noisy restaurant, then let your baby fall asleep in your arms. Public breastfeeding has never been so discreet and stylish. What's Your Baby Thinking?

What if you suddenly understood what your baby meant when she said "Neh" or "Owh?" Communicating with your newborn just got a whole lot easier, thanks to Australian researcher Priscilla Dunstan, who has discovered the secret language of babies.

Dunstan has identified five words that all babies from birth to three months say, regardless of their race or culture. These "words" are actually sound reflexes, or a "pre-cry." All babies have the same reflexes and thus make the same sounds. The Dunstan Baby Language video shows parents how to distinguish between these sounds so they'll know whether their babies are hungry, sleepy or gassy. And by responding to a baby's initial request to be burped, sleep or eat, parents can minimize screaming and infant discomfort. To learn more or order a video, go to www.dunstanbaby.com
